1. What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage and session storage, which websites and web applications also use to remember information between page loads.
2. How SignWorkspace uses them today
SignWorkspace is built as an interactive web application (Blazor Server). It keeps you in mind of the following:
- Sign-in session (local storage, not a cookie) — after you sign in, your session token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in across page loads. It is not sent to any third party and is cleared when you sign out or your session expires.
- Hosting/routing cookie (strictly necessary) — our hosting platform may set a technical cookie to route your browser's requests to the correct application instance for the duration of your visit. This cookie does not track you across other websites.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party web analytics cookies on signworkspace.com. If that changes, this policy and, where required, an on-site cookie banner will be updated before those technologies are activated.

4. Managing cookies and local storage
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage through their settings. Because SignWorkspace's strictly necessary sign-in mechanism relies on local storage, clearing it or blocking storage for signworkspace.com will sign you out and may prevent the application from working correctly. Blocking the hosting/routing cookie may cause connection issues with the interactive application.
5. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites (for example, a payment processor at checkout). Those sites have their own cookie and privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.
6. POPIA and this policy
Where a cookie or similar technology processes personal information, that processing is covered by our Privacy Notice in addition to this policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
